Founded in 1973 to support, promote and prosper the work of the National Trust

The Association traditionally has a programme which includes meetings from September to April with speakers on subjects of interest, outings to National Trust and other properties in Spring and Summer and occasional social events.

Our activities were brought to a halt in March 2020 by the Covid-19 precautions and lockdowns and started again from scratch in the Autumn of 2021. The meeting programme opened with talks in October and November and we are pleased to say that we are now back to our usual programme of talks and outings.  

In 2023 we celebrated 50 years of support for the National Trust.
