| Recent developments, restorations, and reimagining of the Pleasure Ground Garden of Petworth House |

Martyn Burkinshaw has been the Head Gardener and Head Ranger of Petworth House and Park for 10 years. In his time at Petworth he has overseen major replanting projects in the Pleasure Ground Garden, inspired by the works of Lancelot 'Capability' Brown, the 3rd Earl of Egremont, and historical contemporaries. Developing the Pleasure Garden Reimagination Project informed by the site history, future climate, and current trends in garden design theory; Petworth is taking a 'slow gardening' approach to delivering change in our ever-improving Garden. |
